Thanks for posting! I didn't know Richter also had a career as a keyboard performer. Oh for a chance to play an organ like that. (and to know how to play an organ like that!)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know either! And indeed these two performances are as fascinating and laudable for Richter's virtuosity and music-making as they are for Bach's incredible music. I cannot cease from marveling at the display, Richter's unflappable demeanor, and as you say, these magnificent instruments.
